What is Browzine?

BrowZine delivers thousands of academic journals to your iPad or Android tablet or smartphone.

BrowZine works by making most online journals offered by the IZTECH Library instantly available on one common newstand app, which you can customize to your interests. 

Using BrowZine, you can:

  • Easily read complete scholarly journals in a format that is optimized for tablet devices
  • Create a personal bookshelf of favorite journals
  • Be alerted when new editions of journals are published
  • Easily save to Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote and other service
  • Email them in one step
  • Download and save them to your tablet or smartphone for offline reading
  • Open most of them in many other apps, including iAnnotate and DropBox
  • Share their citations and your comments on Twitter or Facebook
  • Etc.!

The result is an easy and familiar way to browse, read and monitor scholarly journals across disciplines.

How Do You Get It?

  • Download BrowZine: From your Android, iOS or Kindle Fire device, visit the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Amazon App Store. Search for “BrowZine” and download the app to your device. 
     
  • Access BrowZine: Tap on the app icon to open BrowZine. A list of libraries will appear, please select Izmir Institute of Technology - IZTECH.  Enter your credentials, these will be the same used for remote access.
     
  • Start browsing! Use the Subject dropdown menu to browse by subject categories or our Titles A-Z to find a specific title by name.

Browzine Web Edition

BrowZine Web is available also. BrowZine will automatically detect if users are on campus and select your library; if off-campus, users will be prompted initially to select IZTECH library.
